Aitmamat Nazarov, Chairman of the National Energy Holding has held a series of meetings with heads of the largest power corporations and companies within the framework of his business trip to Japan.

From 18 to 20 November 2019, meetings were held with the heads of such companies as Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions, Toshiba Plant System, Tokyo Rope MFG Co., Ltd и Yokogawa Electric. The participants discussed bilateral cooperation prospects, including cooperation in the field of construction of small hydropower plants and supply of power equipment. The Chairman of the Board of the National Energy Holding visited production facilities and hydropower plants of Japan.

Following the results of the visit, the agreement was achieved on considering the opportunity for development of investment projects on construction of small hydropower plants (Papanskaya, Kirovskaya, and Karakul HPPs). The Kyrgyz party will also submit proposals for the detailed review.
