This year the 4th International Congress and Exhibition Hydropower Central Asia and Caspian will take place in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, 19 and 20 February. It will be held with the official support and participation of expanded high-level delegations from:

87 new small hydroelectric plants – potential construction on the rivers of the country
10% - harnessed hydropower potential
Before 2025, 7 projects for construction and modernisation of large and mega-large hydroelectric plants are planned
As planned, the project will be developed with financial support of the Asian Development Bank and Eurasian Development Bank. Reconstruction works are scheduled to commence in 2020 and total completion is expected by 2025.
Completion of works is scheduled for 2024. Project donors are Asian Development Bank and Eurasian Development Bank.
